How is this different from fully managed IT?

Fully managed IT means we are your IT department. Co-managed means you have an internal IT person or team and we work with them. The internal team owns the relationship and priorities; we provide capacity and expertise to help them deliver.

Will our internal IT person feel threatened?

Most do not, once they see how it works. The arrangement removes the things they hate (after-hours pages, password resets, specialist work outside their area) and gives them more time for the things they signed up to do (strategy, projects, vendor work). Many of our co-managed engagements were initiated by the internal IT person themselves.

Who does our team call when they have a problem?

That is up to your IT lead. Some prefer all tickets come to their internal queue and they delegate to us. Others have us as the first-line help desk. Either model works.

Do you handle ticketing and documentation in our existing tools?

Yes. We work in your tools - whatever PSA, ticketing, monitoring, and documentation platforms you use. We are not asking you to switch.
